WATER POLO CLINIC
Windy City Water Polo will be offering a water polo clinic again this spring. We will be teaching the fundamental skills of water polo. It is for boys and girls age 8-14, whom are not yet in high school, and will be held at Fenwick High School in Oak Park. It will run from March 9th through May 4th. The class will be held on the days listed below in the evenings from 7:00 to 8:15pm, or Sunday 12:30 to 2:00pm, at the Fenwick H.S. pool. Cost for the clinic is $115.00, payable to Windy City Water Polo. Please mail to Dave Perry at Fenwick High School, 505 Washington Blvd. Oak Park, Il. 60302, or bring with you on the first day March 9th.
The clinic is open to any girl or boy in grades 4 through 8. The purpose of the clinic is to teach the youngsters how to pass, catch, dribble and shoot a water polo ball. We will also be teaching the basic play of the game. We will try to have some scrimmages in house or with other teams as well. These can really help provide an introduction to the exciting game of WATER POLO!
For the 8-11 beginning level participants we will offer H2O Ball. It is a fun way to introduce youngsters to the sport of water polo.
