WINDY CITY WATER POLO
SUNDAY SCRIMMAGES
Windy City Water Polo will host their annual Winter Sunday Scrimmages again this year for all 14&Under players not yet in high school. No water polo experience is necessary so bring your friends! There will be a short swim, a few minutes of passing and then 1+ hour of scrimmage. This is a great way to be introduced to the game of water polo in a fun filled environment. New players learn the rules and then are able to compete in the scrimmage once they feel comfortable to join in. All are welcome. The cost is $3 per Sunday so come to as many as you can. It's a great way to stay in the pool and have a lot of fun.
The times do fluctuate, so please check the website for the most up to date schedule. We hope that the early afternoon schedule will work for those with evening conflicts and the evening schedule will work for those that have afternoon conflicts. Occasionally, scrimmage times may be altered or changed due to swim meets or water polo tournaments at Fenwick HS and Sunday Bears games. Schedule changes will be made on the website and we will do our best to tell the kids the week before. We will also try to compile an email list to keep everyone updated.

The official page for one of the premier water polo clubs in Illinois. Based out of Fenwick High School (505 Washington Blvd., Oak Park, IL 60302), Windy City Water Polo fields 20 and Under, 18 and Under, 16 and Under, 14 and Under, 12 and Under, and 10 and Under teams for both boys and girls. The 2011 Summer season currently has high school boys participating from Fenwick, Oak Park River Forest, Morton, Latin, Lincoln Way Central, Brother Rice, Curie, Juarez, Maine South, Naperville North, Riverside-Brookfield, Loyola, and Lockport. Please note that at this time, the HS Girls Team is for Fenwick HS Girls ONLY. Our 14&Under programs and the HS Boys are open to all players.
At the collegiate level, WCWP has sent players to Varsity programs at Harvard University, Princeton University, Mercyhurst College, Iona College, Fordham University, Bucknell University, UC Los Angeles, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Loyola Marymount University, Washington & Jefferson College, U.S. Naval Academy, Johns Hopkins University, Pennsylvania State University Behrend, UC Santa Barbara, Santa Clara University, Indiana University, University of Michigan, Villanova University, Gannon University, and University of La Verne.
At the club level, WCWP has sent players to Miami University, University of Michigan, Purdue University, Northwestern University, University of Wisconsin, University of Illinois, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Western Michigan University, University of Iowa, University of Notre Dame, University of Dayton, Marquette University, Lewis University, St. Louis University, Western Illinois University, Colgate University, Syracuse University, Pepperdine University, Illinois Wesleyan University, Grand Valley State University, Tufts University, and United States Military Academy.
